Great production and lead actress

This film seemed pretty promising. Unfortunately, the script had too much unnecessary dialogue for the story being told, which drags it into a near 100 minute runtime. This probably would've been better around 70-80 minutes. But the editing from scene to scene was nicely done, allowing for the imagination to work a little.

Greene is the standout from beginning to end, doing a fantastic job connecting with her character. Lee-King does a satisfactory job, especially in one tense scene where there is more facial expressions than dialogue. But for the most part his delivery doesn't convince throughout. There are some other supporting roles that are okay, but no one else stands out.

It being shot at one of my favorite restaurants is why I wanted to see it. This film is better than most films made in San Diego, and that's in part because there is a clear budget which adds production value to it. A shorter runtime and perhaps better casting would've done this film wonders.
