We've all had that pesky aunt or uncle who was a work of art, right?
Such is the case with Katie's disciplined Aunt Cecile (marvelous played by Marsha Hunt). Lucky for Steve, he's leaving for a business trip -- unlucky for the rest --Cecile will stay awhile and use his room!
Now the fun begins as Cecile begins to "re-arrange" the Douglas household, and the gang is fit to be tied. Naturally, the guys don't want to make Kate's aunt feel unwelcome... but they can't wait for her to leave. Please!
This truly is an episode that hits home, so well written by William Rayner, associated with GET SMART, and many other sitcoms. A salute to former MGM star Marsha Hunt, a dynamic actress for years, who appeared in films until her early 90s. She passed in 2022 at age 105! A class act, and certainly nothing like the character she played. Marsha was a very popular actress in Hollywood, and one of the oldest living of all time who made guest appearances into her late 90s, much like Betty White.
