S1 was fun and cheesy , S2 more drama and blood

First season is similar to the original 911 but a little cheesier with classic Rob Lowe comedy.

For some reason season 2 they made far more graphic then any other season of the 911 series, and people in my house stopped watching. Told a few more stories as well but hope they don't start leaning into more drama and full episode stories. Just stick with the classic formula that works .

Do some research. Or just ask someone from Austin or even anywhere in Texas.

This episode (as well as others) has Texas, especially Austin, as being backward. In fact you won't find better first responders anywhere in the world! Now this episode shows a sand storm rolling into Austin. Not at all likely. Probably not possible. In the South Plains of Texas (Lubbock area) you see walls of dust caused by various weather events now and then. But not in that part of Texas. Even if it was possible, you'd see it long before it hit and the local weather on TV, radio and NWS would have everyone warned long before it hit. If you want a similar catastrophe, try a wildfire. During draught times that would actually be possible. And 65mph wind isn't at all uncommon especially an outflow from a thunderstorm. "Anywhere" Texas has experienced that type of a breeze and real wind to past 70 often. Mr know it all in this show could learn plenty from any Fire Dept in Texas. But, I just had to watch one episode. Over, done, never again! Dang, do some research!

I started with high hopes for this show but it consistently failed

Tonight's dust storm episode was a wasted hour once again. If the writers spent time doing actual research on the city of Austin they would not be making so many mistakes! I have a nephew who worked for Austin's rescue squad and this show does not reflect reality in any form! It may make for exciting television but you should call it 911Sacramemto or Reno not Lone Star. No one on the show attempts a Central Texas accent!
