We just saw this film at the Salem Horror Fest and were really impressed. The acting was legitimately well done and the effects were believably depicted. The various relationships, whether familiar, friendship and/or others, were provoking and relatable. There was minimal gore but a few good jump scares. This movie deals with trauma, loss, the want for acceptance and forgiveness, friendship, and connections - whether positive or the negative. Plus, there was a cute cat in the movie and nothing bad happened to it! That was a surprising plus. I would definitely recommend checking out Summoners when you are able.
