This episode deals with the pasts of all the characters and begins literally with a bang.
Siobhan is coming to grips with LuLu. Jackie is dealing with the Angiulo mob from his past. DeCourcy is looking into Sinclair's past. Jennie is dealing with her past, whilst continuing to tell her business to anyone who will listen. She utters the hysterical line: "I have secrets, too."
Then there is the meddlesome priest, Diarmuid, who I am really starting to dislike. He was a priest, then not. He was Gay, then not. IRA, then not. Now, he is pursuing a path Jackie warned him off and can only bring him pain and, by proxy, so too Jennie.
This is an engrossing episode and Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Jill Hennessy, Lauren Banks, Mark Ryder and the actor who plays 'Chris Caysen' (every time I write the actors name it gets red flagged for review) are all outstanding. Oh, and Jackie gets 'pinged.'
