Delusional
hidalgo-landa25 October 2022
The rest of the series was pretty good, probably because the episodes were based in real people and they could get some feedback.

The last chapter is horrible and I strongly recommend ignoring it. The series is good and complete without it.

It is great to provide criticism, and introducing some fiction, can be a good way. It could be a good opportunity to do some criticism to streaming services like Spotify. Lamentably, the arguments are shallow and the fictional character are incoherent. You notice a lack of investigate and documentative effort.

The last chapter lacks of realism and credibility. The positions and the fictional characters are too shallow and their back story is incoherent. The arguments on the trial are poorly sustained. The fiction is poorly articulated and it doesn't look real or credible.

It is a shame, because the rest of the series is well narrated.

Built the season up for this, just horrible
viggoericsson-9458117 October 2022
If it was the 400th episode and you ran out of ideas I would get it, but this was the 6th episode. The end is actually one of the most important part of a series but they screwed it up. And I don't say that the other episodes sucked but what i am saying is that this episode maybe destroyed the first season. The acting was okay but the actual copy of Walter White is giving me an minus lol. I could say that this series whit the first 5 episodes would get 8.4/10 but whit the last episode it would maybe get 7.1/10. I mean overall it was okay. But overall, too much for me. Maybe not for you, I mean go watch it if you want too.

Wtf was this

The first 5 episodes were decent, but this one is just bad. Really bad.

As with many Netflix series some things are not accurate with how some things acutally turned out, but this episode was just pure imagination through the eyes of political correct wrighters.

It is up to every artist to decide if they want to put their music on a platform, and it is not a human right that every artist makes it in the industry.

I am proud to see what Daniel and Martin made, especially since it is from Sweden. It is a product/platform I use every day. I will never unsubscribe from Spotify and Daniel is not the bad guy they make him out to be. Im sure.

WATCH this episode

I don't know why I'm seeing SO many reviewers telling others to entirely avoid this episode!

I, myself was sceptical of the final episode solely based off of others takes, but decided to take the plunge.

I really enjoyed the episode, it finally gives us some perspective from the artists but in a pretty fair and open way, so that the viewer can take away their own moral conclusions.

There are beautiful parallels between the artists wanting a fair cut and how the record companies negotiated with Spotify in earlier episodes.

I found overall this was one of the more enjoyable episodes of the season, and I hope to see more shows in this space!

This was a satisfying ending and I think it's well worth a watch.

Horrible ending

Warning: Spoilers
The other episodes were great but this was just stupid. Netflix trying to make Daniel a villain exploiting musicians is showing a completely twisted truth. In reality his work has given artists fantastic opportunities to reach out to a wide audience with their music. How much would Bobbi T earn in the pre-Spotify-era? Would people even buy her records or would they even be available in the local record store? If an artist is popular more people will stream their music and they will earn more than a mediocre self claimed "professional musician" no one has ever heard of. Netflix going political ruined a show again.

Accurate representation

Warning: Spoilers
As someone who works in the music industry, this episode is a reality I recognise for the thousands of moderately successful artists who earn miniscule amounts from streaming services. The record companies, with their outdated contracts are the villains here and Spotify, borrowing billions of dollars to pay them are held over a barrel.

It used to be possible to make a living from music creation alone but first piracy then legal streaming, has made it amost impossible. Revenue from subscribers is not currently shared with the interests of creators in mind.

Best episode of the series and I do not know why its score is so low.

Bad and shallow criticism
amirapetr14 December 2022
What?

Why did the authors destroy an interesting series, beautifully directed, well led by the actors, at the very end with this shallow dystopian last episode. I'm really disappointed with how they ended the series.

I don't want to say that social engagement is wrong, or even out of place in the Spotify story, but this episode completely missed its mark!

I don't understand why the authors would want to place the end of the story in the near future? Is this prediction of the development of events with music platforms a bit of a low blow to the founder of Spotify?

I'm not sure this is a good way to get the message across. In the cinematic sense, it is a failure, and at the conceptual level, it is insufficiently developed and shallow.

Don't waist your time on the last episode. It's terrible and fictional. The series as was very good, but the last episode went completely off the rails.

Bobbi T in the series is a fictional character, who represents musicians as a whole. She does a great representation, but the main character who built Spotify is characterized as using musicians.

The 5 previous episodes explains the creators of views, but this last episode completely changes that view to the musicians point of view.

The music industry has always had all the power. This episode was really bad and just skip it. It's completely fictional.

The best episode
adolfo-usp8 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is the best episode of the series. It closes the series with a golden key (an expression in Portuguese). I love that it imagines a future that might never happen. That's what works of fiction are for. The ideia of artists protesting might seem too far-fetched but that's not a problem in the script, that's a problem in real life.

You have to take into account also that it is not only about Spotify. It is about tech companies in general. Daniel's behavior is a copy of the behavior of other tech moguls.

So, as a final advice, don't trust the low score people gave to this episode. Decide for yourself if you like it or not.
