Lennox calls in MSP Richie Gulliver, and is convinced they he knows something about the crime, but naturally he has a smart lawyer, who knows the system inside out.
It's another very strong, absorbing episode, what I'm enjoying most, is that the main focus is on the actual crime, it doesn't feel soap like at all.
I really did enjoy the family meal scene, that took our minds of the very grim crime, albeit quite briefly. I think we can definitely see that a storm is brewing for Trudie, both at work and at home, not sure she'll be remaining this calm throughout.
Dougie is such an interesting guy, he's so obnoxious, clearly a little despondent by The way The Justice System works. I'm assuming he's going to end up in trouble with someone.
Derek Riddell certainly played the part well, you could really see him getting under Lennox's skin.
This series is proving to be a real drama highlight.
