Perry and the future

Episode 7: A better episode for a few new things, new revelations, mysteries "solved" partially, some good acting by Imogen Poots who outdoes herself in this episode (so far).

Still, 88% in, it's (still) a mishmash and hot mess.

If you don't have a flare for mind twisters, don't watch

I see a lot of people complaining about being lost and confused in a convoluted plot. I'm not seeing any of that. In fact, this episode had the biggest development in the last couple of episodes. This was never intended to be a mini-series, I don't know why some of the audience are expecting it all to wrap up by the next episode as I'm sure they have plans for a second season. Given the nature of the show, I'm sure it'll leave off on a cliffhanger. So did Severance. I think the setting of the show garnered a lot of the yellowstone redneck audience members, so of course they can't keep up with a mind twister.

Love this episode!

I yelled "WHAAAAT!" out loud at one point in this episode! All I can say is I was mesmerized. The actor who plays Perry is so convincing. Every scene he is in is deep an emotional. He says so much just with a look in his eyes. Folks, I think I have a new favorite actor!

The religious symbolism gives me much to think about, especially the Mother Bear and her cub and mother humans and their children. There's a lot of deep meaning in this episode besides just entertainment!

Thank you writers of this episode!

Gatekeeper to the unknown

We learn more about Royal's past and his connection to the hole in this episode. Autumn and Royal draw others into their festering feud with far reaching consequences. As a penultimate outing, a lot of work is left for the finale to deliver a satisfying conclusion.

Get on with it..this is slowing down to a snooze fest. Lots of sitting around talking and talking and talking. I'm ready to fall in the hole...to get away from this boredom!

I'm out

I was waiting for this show to get better but it just didn't go anywhere. It's just so boring. A series of unrelated scenes, with unlikeable characters, with overly dramatic music. The badly choreographed scene with the two weirdos slowly walking toward each other step by step in the car park was the nail in the coffin for me. Amateurish trash. I tried to hang in there but I'm out.

How to butcher a series
Xavier_Stone7 May 2022
This show is a prime example of what not to do. Some of the scenes in this episode are literally 30 seconds long. It takes the camera crew and set designers hours to get it made up only to have an actor give it a few tries and the director calls it done.

This is just random scenes thrown together, add some cello music or a 70's song and it's supposed to be mysterious.

I have wanted to like something, anything in this show and all I get is annoying hill billy actress getting all loony bin crazy for a good part. Then throw in some Indian dancing that has nothing at all to do with anything.

Even members of the cast with IMDB accounts on here can't give themselves a good rating as they feel too guilty of putting in such terrible work.
