On the day of a soldier's memorial, Emily's efforts to keep her family's hope alive reach a breaking point, and she descends into a personal inferno. This is by far the bleakest episode of Dickinson yet as everything in Emily's life starts to fall apart. Seeing Emily and her dad together has been a touching part of season 3, making this episode feel bitter. Hailee Steinfeld gives one of her best performances in the series. It is both beautiful and heartbreaking. Everything else was on point too. The costumes, the music, the lighting, it was all perfect. And it really does feel like this show is coming to an end now. I can't believe there are only 2 episodes left. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the Finale. But I'm excited to see where the story goes.

Hailee is not the savior

My goodness. Hailee is a bright spot in this show. In the previous seasons this show in my perspective had a purposeful direction. But now they just jump sporadically from character development to some non sensible fever dream of Emily's darkest fears and desires.🙄 Maybe the show should've been a mini series. Because they have just lost touch with reality. And the time jumps is just ridiculous. Wiz Khalifa should be more essential to the plot at this point. The quality of this season is just ridiculously mediocre. So disappointed.
