This was wildly disappointing considering I've been a HUGE fan of M. W in the past. I couldn't get through it , it was way too vulgar and disgusting. The belly button joke , nudity smh trust me, don't waste your time.

Love the wayans they're usually pretty funny but this was just weird. Did the producers even watch this? If so they set him up for failure. I couldn't even get threw half of this. The sexual jokes towards his daughter turnt me completely off.

Not sure what he was trying to do up there, but NONE of it was funny. Painful to watch, actually, so I just skimmed it. Luckily I had it on tape, so I did not have to waste an hour of my life.

I'm a kid that grew up around the topics Marlon elaborates on, and I'm currently 22 years of age, and the outer belly button bid was hilarious to me, because as he describes his interactions/encounters with those people with outer belly buttons, I instantly got an image in my mind of the exact kind of kid he was describing, even the bow legged parts. When you grow up in any actual "projects" or "hoods", you literally witness, and experience things, someone that lives outside of that environment wouldn't be able to relate to at all. Also the other bids, where he talks about his daughters sexuality, and the other side of the coin, if it were his son that was a homosexual. All that was is real, it was genuine , and if you felt "cringed" out by what he was saying you aren't mentally prepared fully for the reality's of life ! His children are both young adults, they understand comedy, his family loves jokes, I have the same type of family they have, just not rich, yet ! Lol but this is just me saying that when we are down, or hurt by something, we can always come together and laugh, and this was him reaching out to his kids, with comedy. You guys also don't understand why Marlon is great at what he does. He perfectly tied jokes back together by fitting them throughout his stories, and the stories kept you attentive, and he is literally on stage acting out his scenes, because he's also an actor...not every comedian has that range. You people truly don't understand how hard it is to do what comedians do. There's a science behind being funny, and there's definitely different styles. Shoutout Marlon Wayans, you had me laughing for sure, I'm from Newark , NJ too, so definitely related to so many things you talked about for real !

I was excited to watch this when it popped up on HBOmax. It's a shame that it ended up being so terrible.

He came out onto the stage and opened with awful jokes about outie belly buttons.... 10 minutes later, he finally starts talking about his kids, and that was even more awful. I thought maybe I just didn't like his stand up style, but I very quickly realized that the audience didn't dig it either. They snickered and laughed a few times here and there, but they were very obviously disappointed.

Wow. He went from.. I see white people.. that was funny in scary movie. This is out dated and not very funny. He did a good job with delivery. The material was not so good IMO.

I was so excited about this one and was equally disappointed. I did laugh at the belly button bit, and chuckled when he started the joke about his daughter, but it went way to cringe for me. I enjoyed Woke-ish and everything that I've seen him in, but this one didn't do it for me. It also came off a bit preachy. Hopefully his next stand-up is better.
