This entire season feels like it has no connection to the previous three seasons. The heart of the show was and should always be Villanelle with Eve being the close second. The way it feels right now, Eve has dominated screentime and story importance with the rest of the cast including Villanelle being pushed way down. Even Helene's role in this season feels more crucial to the story than Villanelle's. While Eve and the British Intelligence are working with Helene to make leaps and bounds in the identification of the Twelve, Villanelle continues to sort out emotions and is playing yet again, the hired 'lower in importance' assassin. I can only hope that Jodie Comer's tremendous value to this show will be used in the later episodes and not half ditched like it is right now.

It's Agony and I'm Ravenous

Warning: Spoilers
Halfway through the fourth season. Killing Eve is exploring new dynamics.
Villanelle has left prison thanks to Helene and she has been given a new target to take out.
Only in Cuba. Both Villanelle and Carolyn have a new perspective on their relationship. Especially as Carolyn had met Villanelle as a child.
Eve and Helene also enter a battle of wits in a bathtub. Another episode that shows how much Eve has evolved.
It leads someone like Konstantin to be all at sea. His initiation tests are just old hat.
It is evident that Killing Eve is a different show from when it began. I think it needed that newer perspective.

Thank god Villainelle is finally back in business

Finally we get some creative killing and torture from Villainelle, and cool dresses. Carolyn is also getting back her former glory, rather than being a useless piece of junk as she was in last season. Eve is alright I guess.
Unrecognisable

This shows just getting plain weird. It's no longer captivating and characters who were once dark and intriguing are now just boring and seem to be straying from the enigmatic nature that made us fall in love with them. Konstantin's laugh is being way over used and Caroline seems to be behaving more like her daughter rather than the cold and calculated Caroline of season 1+2 - it's a shame such brilliant works of art are reduced to mediocrity. Seems to be a regular occurrence these days.
KE is back!

Warning: Spoilers
This season only gets better! The Villaneve relationship is getting more intimate in a uniquely bizarre way, which is what this show does best. They're actually going the length to show us this is not just some obsession, they truly have deeper feelings.
Also, Eve is blossoming into quite a character and I love it.
Those sequences in the end with Helene wondering if Eve knows what passion is and what it is about V. And Eve replying 'You have no idea', the intercut with Villanelle's face and music cues, that was a thing of beauty.
I feel sorry for the people who expected a domesticated, suburban couple with two dogs by ep 4, they're missing a hell of ride.
When we get lesbian representation in shows it usually gets soapy. It's so wonderful to have this kind of dark and complex love story between two women.

[4.4] Bath tubs, couch and razors

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 4: A little better but also worse than the previous episode with some interesting vibe & flow, colorful scenes & shots, crazy & insane laughs with still too many characters lurking around and a sad sense of non-urgency and safety for main and side characters.

What a waste

Stopped being quiky now just silly. The series has now ran out of ideas, the relentless army of female assassins murdering people is bland and none of the actors seem interested. A shame it ended up this bad. Ruined it for me.
