Mauricio Oldak, the actor who plays Ernesto in the film, is actually only 28 years old, although his character is supposed to be over 90 years old. He had to go through a make-up process that took over 7 hours each day.
Cordiani, the last name of the main character in the film, is based on the last name of Santiago Codiani, a good friend from Argentina that director Isaac Ezban met during his exchange studies in Australia in 2008.
When the film was ready for public release, director Isaac Ezban decided to start a secret marketing campaign that consisted on sending via Internet the first 3 minutes of the film (showing a fake corporative video of Martin Cordiani) to all the people he knew. This had a counterproductive effect, because people actually thought that this was a real corporative video, that Martin Cordiani was real, and that this was not a fiction film.
