- [Kimi sits sadly in the garage, holding a severed teddy bear head in a basket; Chuckie comes in]
- Chuckie Finster: I'm sorry, Kimi.
- Kimi Finster: I can't believe you destroyed all my stuff.
- Chuckie Finster: But I thought you *hated* your room and that stuff.
- [sits down next to her]
- Kimi Finster: Why would you think *that*?
- Chuckie Finster: You said, "I hate my room and that stuff."
- Kimi Finster: Oh. Well, I didn't mean it.
- [stands up]
- Kimi Finster: I was just mad at my dad for not sending me anything for Children's Day. I've been pushed aside for a younger, cuter, pinker model.
- Chuckie Finster: Uh, Kimi, I just want you to know everything is gonna be OK.
- Kimi Finster: [sarcastically] Sure, and the sun will come out tomorrow. Blah, blah, blah.
- Chuckie Finster: No, I know *exactly* how you feel. When your mom married my dad and you came to live with us, I was *so* mad, I tried to give you to the neighbours!
- Kimi Finster: Oh, yeah! They gave me a cupcake.
- Chuckie Finster: I thought you were gonna take my place. I didn't know my dad had enough love for the both of us. A heart isn't like a room with walls that can't move. It expands to let in as many people as it needs to.
- Kimi Finster: Wow! That's pretty deep. You make that up?
- Chuckie Finster: Nah, I heard it on a design show.
- [Kimi laughs]
- Chuckie Finster: The best part's I got a sister in the deal. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
- [they hug]
- Kimi Finster: Thanks. Um, Chuckie, does Dad know you stapled his rare record collection to the wall?
- Chuckie Finster: *Rare*?
- Charles "Chas" Finster: Kids, we're home!
- Kimi Finster: Dad?
- [Chas steps aside to reveal Hiro and his wife; Hiro carries a wrapped present]
- Kimi Finster: *Dad*!
- [Kimi runs to Hiro; they hug]
- Hiro Watanabe: Happy Children's Day, Kimi-chan. I hope you weren't too upset waiting to get your present, but here it is: A brand new baby sister.
- [Hiro's wife hands Kimi's new sister to her; she's wrapped in a blanket with a bow in her hair]
- Kimi Finster: Aww! She's so tiny!
