With the return of Hondo to the squad we already knew there was some tension coming and with how Deacon doesn't like having things handed to him, it was a good bet a new leader was coming in.
While Rodrigo is a bit of a hot head and basically everything we don't want a police/swat officer to be like lol he does however present an opposite to hondo, as hondo is generally cool, collected and uses his head more than his might, to handle most situations.
Rodrigo is more of a brawn over brains kind of guy and yea lol there's lots of those out there in the real world, so not far fetched. His introduction really shows the light and day difference from the leaders, highlighting just how much better Hondo was for the job.
Overall it was an interesting episode, wondering how it would play out, if hondo was going to try and fight his way back to leader, if 20 squad was even going to exist and on and on.
Is it as bad as some reviewers who give 1 or 3 stars? Lol not even, it's a much better show than 90% of other TV shows on right now, which is exactly why i watch it over anything else lol.
