This was the intended fourth episode, with a scheduled airdate of 15th May 1992. However, the series was disrupted due to the riots in LA and surrounding areas when originally screened, where it was deemed inappropriate to broadcast content relating to the area. Not only was the show postponed during its second week, this edition wasn't screened at all.
The episode was eventually broadcast by Channel 4 on 4th December 1993, when the rest of the series was repeated.

It's unclear how near to the original broadcast date Laurie Pike's introduction was recorded: part of it sees her say "Even when L.A. isn't burning, it's the most stressed out and strung out city in America."
