Two's company and three's a crowd--but four can soar! At least that's what the good folks at haRFMFul Productions, Sick Puppy Pictures, MOnsterworks66 and Lion Arch Productions believe as they prep a three-feature slate to shoot in Louisiana later this year or early in 2016!
Rycke Foreman (haRMFul), Phil Condit (Sick Puppy), Maria Olsen (MO66) and Lionel Archuleta (Lion Arch) are developing a slate of three horror-comedies for production in Louisiana and are presently attaching cast and finalizing budgets before approaching La. investors. The three films, Happy Ending, Hacked Off and Grizzled! (#Hehog) are all zany romps through HorCom Land featuring lovely ladies, buckets of blood, hunky heroes and terrifyingly funny Big Bads.
The films may all live in the same genre, but they each have their own special stamp of entertaining insanity:

Bill Oberst, Jr., is passionate about horror, and it shows in the actor's newly launched official website, BillOberst.com, especially in the section entitled "The Anatomy of Fear."
From the Press Release:
The all-new BillOberst.com comes complete with horror merchandise (including a bloody severed ear and some exclusive T-shirt designs by horror genre artists) and a sense of fun that Oberst thinks is often lacking in modern-day horror.
The La-based actor is known for roles in a slew of indie horror flicks as well as appearances on MTV's "Death Valley," HBO's "True Blood," and the occasional high-profile dramatic lead in TV-movies like The Hallmark Channel's "The Shunning" and The History Channel's "Sherman's March." Oberst says he wanted a site that celebrates the kind of horror he loved as a kid. "Horror should be fun. And cathartic. And scary. And disturbing," says Oberst. "I wanted a site that was all of those things.

*full disclosure: a DVD screener of this film was provided by The Asylum.
Director: Shane Van Dyke.
Writers: H. Perry Horton.
Everyone needs a guilty pleasure and this reviewer enjoys an occasional The Asylum production. Their latest is called A Haunting in Salem and this title released on DVD October 4th and in a 3D Blu-Ray format as well. This horror title stars Bill Oberst Jr. (The Shunning), Gerald Webb and Courtney Abbiati in a mostly thrilling straight-to-video release. The film is loosely based on the Salem witch trials of 1692 and this film fan enjoyed the story, gore effects and musical score from composer Chris Ridenhour.
The film begins with three murders in under five minutes and clearly this is a film unafraid of restricted territory. The final scene in a series of shots involves a sheriff flying off of a two story roof to his death. Then, another sheriff...

Hallmark is known the world over for their sweet, heartwarming and sometimes syrupy products. From greeting cards to gifts to music to movies, the Hallmark company sure knows how to tug at one’s heart strings.Beverly Lewis’ The Shunning, a made-for-Hallmark TV movie continues this trend of stirring up emotions and entertaining the masses however the results are somewhat lackluster.

Bill Oberst Jr. is the definition of “the horror actor”, the working actor doesn’t prefer anything outside of the horror genre and wouldn’t have it any other way. Oberst has some cool projects in the works including Vivid and Legend of the Red Reaper, he shares some stories about working on True Blood and MTV’s upcoming horror series Death Valley. The actor keeps busy for sure! Check out my latest Versus with Bill Oberst Jr. to learn more about this hard working cool actor.
Brian S- First off you've really been cranking out film projects since 2007. How'd you get into acting?
Bill Oberst Jr.- I was a bizarre-looking kid who loved monsters and the other kids made fun of me. I learned a useful equation: "If You Entertain People, They Will Not Hit You." So my whole career has pretty much been about trying to get people not to hit me.

The continually busy actor Bill Oberst Jr. continues to blaze the horror trails and has most certainly kicked his acting career into overdrive.
Earlier this week Oberst wrapped on two horror projects he was shooting simultaneously (a cameo in J.R. McGarrity's feature film The Bloodlet and a lead in Thomas Mentel's dark short Overtime;) he starts a 14 day-shoot on Saturday in the lead role of The Asylum's new horror feature A Haunting In Salem, directed by Shane Van Dyke, and will go straight from wrap on Haunting into the lead role in director Drew Daywalt's Naked, co-starring Maria Olsen of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Edin Gali of television's Mad Men.
Oberst's cameo in The Bloodlet, a horror film with comedic overtones set in an apartment building with a malevolent past, involved the ghost of a suicide victim whose intestines...

Think back to Robert De Niro (Heat). Think back to Al Pacino (Scent of a Woman). Robert De Niro was known for his intensity. Al Pacino was known for his flashy screen presence. Now think of veteran character actor of horror films, Bill Oberst Jr. (Dismal, Vivid, The Devil Within). Bill Oberst Jr. has both the flash of Pacino and the intensity of De Niro. It's the best of both worlds in one package. And directors and producers are taking notice. In less then four years, Bill Oberst Jr. has had well over thirty film credits. Since he works his fair share in the horror genre, he is often seen playing the villain or the creepy guy or even, on occasion, the rapist. However, Bill Oberst Jr. wants you to know that their is more to him then just that. That he has an extra layer of dimensionality. That he's not just one note.

In order to show Edward and Bella’s daughter’s rapid growth, there will be multiple girls who play Renesmee!
We’ve all fallin in love with the adorable actress who’s going to play Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s daughter in Breaking Dawn, Mackenzie Foy — but now there are three more girls cast as the same role!
According to a Mackenzie Foy fansite, Mackenzie’s face will be “digitally transferred” onto the other three girls’ bodies. Eliza Faria looks like the youngest Renesmee hired thus far, followed by the six-year-old actress from The Blind Side and The Shunning, Rachel St. Gelais – and then Sierra Pitkin, who is best known for her part in Juno.
Rachel also was caught tweeting with Breaking Dawn cast members Erik Odom and Valorie Curry Jan. 31, further confirming her part.
