Angel spends an episode making wrong decisions, as she jumps to conclusions about Shane having an affair with Shannon, then gets involved in an immature spat with her love rival that leaves her convinced they're having an affair again.Ironically this results in Shannon coming across as more sympathetic than her, even though her grip on reality is seeming very slender.Shane also elicits sympathy as the innocent party getting it in the neck.
The scenes of Marilyn trying to match-make for Irene and accidentally ending up with a date are quite amusing, as is the scene of Alf and Ailsa's reaction to her hiring O'Reilly. But its seriousness for Alf and Ailsa elsewhere, as he fails to empathise with her difficulties and the distance between them grows.
