What a FREAKING great episode of a GREAT show!
The editing and adding of a great song makes the runway something BEYOND. Even the not-so-great looks were kinda cool because of the way it's shown to us.
Some looks are almost UNBELIEVABLY too-good, that if you understand DRAG as an art form and not only for mainstream version of DRAG. This is DRAGULA on it's most pure concept.
The show respects every body's art-form, this is very clearly shown by the way they respected and participated with Trixie Mattel, who is also great in her own drag version, and still kept the show together.
The judging here MAKES SENSE and that's absolutely indispensable in a reality show of COMPETITION, that keeps audience satisfied just because recognises talent itself.
I just dislike those "drama" sections during the first half, this is just so unnecessary. The show would be even greater if it focused on the artists makeing their looks or even talking about it's concept in a way of keeping us imagining the looks we were about to check.
Either way, this show is such a refresh of ART DRAG and I appreciate it very much.
