Decent enough if problematic slasher
Gathered together to film a porn movie, a group of actresses finds themselves disappearing one-by-one at the hands of a maniacal killer hired to turn the shoot into an actual snuff film against their knowledge and must band together to fight off the hulking killer to escape alive.
This wasn't all that bad of an indie production. One of the strongest aspects for this one is the fact that there's quite a lot of fun to be had with the behind-the-scenes work throughout here. Despite focusing so heavily on the realm of pornographic excess, the other measures shown here making the preparations for what's going on not just on the technical side of the shoot but also leading into the different performers as well. Seeing how several of the starlets have their own routines and preparations to get into, from actually rehearing and attempting to develop some chemistry with the other performer in the scene to trying to play childish games with the staff and crew onboard which have their own style and energy here. There's also the fun stalking to be had that makes this somewhat of a fun slasher effort, from the opening ambush on the victim outside their house to the inadvertent stalking on the performer playing with the crew who's completely unaware of their presence and the later scene showing the killer stalking the several performers running loose behind-the-scenes which really sets up the big stalking moments that are set-up in here. The main stalking in the hallways offers up a striking scene of the killer appearing out of the blue which lets the secret out about their intentions and then the dismemberment of the S&M mistress which fully reveals the sinister plot of the whole affair rather nicely. As well as some solid blood and gore as well as plenty of fine nudity from those well-qualified to deliver it, there's enough to like to hold it up over it's few minor issues. The film's biggest problem is the fact that nothing here makes sense, as for what the purpose of the shoot is supposed to accomplish to what the point of the series of double-twists proves in the finale. These come out of nowhere and just don't really offer any clarity into the overall story which should've been the point, cause the film to feel way too overlong with the endless revelations and bland running around that occurs here due to the low-budget nature of the whole affair. While it's fun to see the aftermath of the gory kills here as well as the concept of the kills themselves, the rest of the kills here look incredibly cheap and happen to occur mostly off-screen anyway reducing the effectiveness altogether. The last flaw here is the laughable joke of a killer who's forced to wear a silly mask and has no backstory or point at all which makes for a truly underwhelming killer in the weakest section of the film. These here are what really hold it back the most.
Rated Unrated/R: Continuous Full Nudity, Graphic Language, Graphic Violence and several sex scenes.
