Before the autopsy, the coroner removes the pen from the victim's neck. Later, in a post-autopsy photograph of the victim, the pen is back in her neck.
The LAPD police cars have the letters "LAPD" above a badge on the door, but the doors of real LAPD police cruisers have the Seal of the City of Los Angeles above the word "POLICE", with the slogan "To Protect and to Serve" between the seal and the B-pillar.
