Dr. Sivana : If these ancient writings are correct, I can use it to summon the one being in the universe with enough power to destroy that big red cheese.
[as he aims a satellite and fires it, the lightning travels through space]
Black Adam : [being struck] After languishing in emptiness for 5,000 years, could it be?
[taking off and arriving at Earth]
Black Adam : The way home.

Thaddeus Sivana Jr. : If Teth-Adam is so powerful, won't he just conquer the world for himself and leave us out in the cold?

[taking aim with a rifle]

Billy Batson : It was an accident, Ms. Minerva. The older boys took away my locket. It's the only thing I have left from my parents, and...

[he moves to leave]

Billy Batson : But I have to go help a friend.
Ms. Minerva : You're not going anywhere until this dormitory is spotless.
Billy Batson : Yes, ma'am.
[she leaves]
Billy Batson : Holy moly, there's no time to lose. Shazam!
Captain Marvel : [transforming] Let's see what a little speed of mercury can do.
[cleaning up]
Captain Marvel : Clean as a whistle. Shazam!
Billy Batson : [transforming back] Ms. Minerva? May I go now?
Ms. Minerva : I thought I told you to...
[as she sees his room is clean, he turns to leave]
Ms. Minerva : I'm watching you, Mr. Batson.

WHIZ Reporter : This is ace reporter Tom Tyler with breaking news. Fawcett City is once again terrorized by the evil Dr. Sivana, who appears to be connecting some type of equipment to the WHIZ radio tower.
Dr. Sivana : [as police cars pull up] Thaddeus Jr., Georgia. Teach those fools some manners, kids.
Thaddeus Sivana Jr. : Leave it to us, Pops.
Georgia Sivana : Right behind you, Junior.
[they fire green laser beams at a SWAT team, which freezes them in place]
WHIZ Reporter : This is terrible. The villains are zapping our brave police and firefighters with some kind of fiendish paralyzer ray.
[he gets zapped, too]
Dr. Sivana : [taking his microphone] Citizens of the Earth, this is Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. I will use this radio antenna to polarize Earth's ionosphere and thus silence all wireless communication everywhere. No more satellites, no radio or television, no telephones. Modern society will plunge into chaos.
Batman : [ejecting from the Batplane] This experiment in terror is over, Dr. Sivana.
Dr. Sivana : [fighting him off] That masked peddler is interfering with my plan.
Georgia Sivana : That bat-blockhead doesn't stand a chance against our super-science.
Dr. Sivana : No one can stop me this time. Not even the world's mightiest mortal, Captain Marvel.

WHIZ Reporter : Dr. Sivana's children are chasing Batman across the downtown skyline, firing their paralyzing rays.
Billy Batson : Gosh, Batman's gonna need some help against the world's wickedest scientist.
[gasping as he bumps into two bullies]
Otto : Where do you think you're going, Batson?
C.C. : Yeah, we didn't give you permission to leave.
C.C. : [as Otto shoves him, his locket happens to fall out] That's a pretty necklace, Billy. You got a dress to go with it?
Billy Batson : Hey, give that back, C.C. My mom gave me that.
C.C. : [playing keep-away with Otto] Come and get it.
Otto : What's the matter, baby Batson?
C.C. : Too slow.
Billy Batson : Cut it out.
[as he's shoved into a bookcase, it falls over]
Ms. Minerva : [hearing the noise] What's all that racket up there?
Otto : Uh-oh. Better get out of here.

Shazam the Wizard : Billy Batson. And you've brought a friend, I see. Have you come seeking the guidance of an old wizard?
Billy Batson : Yes. What can you tell us about a man called Teth-Adam?
Shazam the Wizard : Teth-Adam is a name I had hoped never to hear again.
Billy Batson : He was a champion, like me.
Shazam the Wizard : A champion, yes. But not like you, young Billy. Not like you at all. Thousands of years ago in ancient Egypt, I had decided to pass on my powers to a worthy man. I picked Teth-Adam, whose soul I thought was pure and true. But the power corrupted him. He became known as Black Adam, and he decided that he alone should rule the world. I could not overcome him, so I banished him to the furthest star in the sky. If Black Adam has returned, the world is in great danger, for he has all the same powers as Captain Marvel.
Black Adam : [having followed Batman and Billy] The same powers and more.
Dr. Sivana : The boy needs to be more careful.
Georgia Sivana : [having earlier expressed an attraction to Marvel] What? That little runt is Captain Marvel? Gross.

Billy Batson : I'm sorry, Ms. Minerva. I was just finishing my chores.
Ms. Minerva : Of course you haven't finished them, you lazy child. But that's not why I'm here, Billy.
Billy Batson : [seeing Batman lead a family of three in] Batman?
Batman : Billy, this is Mr. and Mrs. Bromfield and their daughter, Mary.
Billy Batson : Hi.
Batman : I did some investigating on your case.
Mary Batson : I was adopted when my parents died.
[holding up a half-broken locket]
Mary Batson : This belonged to my mother.
Billy Batson : [fitting his own piece in] It's a perfect fit. Then that means you must be my... sister?
Batman : Twin sister. Welcome to your new family, Billy.
