At the beginning, Alicia says the virus kills anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. Later, Cliff says it kills anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. Then, several seconds later, Cliff remarks that they'll all be dead within 4 hours.
Much of the first act occurs inside and outside of a biohazard isolation chamber. Yet people are able to speak clearly with each other through the glass, without even having to raise their voices.
Alicia is adamant that the antidote only works if taken before being exposed to the virus and that it's useless after exposure. That would make it a vaccine, not an antidote.
Several mistakes. First, no hazmat protocol is being followed. Second, if taken before it'd be a vaccine not an antidote. Third, at the time this episode aired the US stopped experimenting with biological warfare. Fourth, a virus spread doesn't stop. They suggested the virus would spread several miles but there's nothing to stop the spread. That virus would eventually wipe out the entire planet if not contained.
There is no organization called the CDCA, it's just the CDC and they have no power to take over a murder investigation.
