Is Halstead the new Olinsky for Voight?
RoverGuy10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Very good episode. I like the fact that Halstead told Voight that Chicago needs cops like Voight. And that Halstead was willing to get "dirty" to protect his family (Intelligence unit) and Haley (the new Mrs. Halstead!). Maybe Halstead will be willing to bend the rules a little in future episodes, or at least more so than before. He has definitely changed since the first episodes.

I took one star off for the convenient way they got rid of the case against Voight by going after the FBI guy, using his family against him. I guess all cops have something to hide?

everyone changes everyone...

Warning: Spoilers
It's not Voight that changed Jay. It was Hailey and scratches she left on his body...just like ones she caused on his soul...damn good show...but so sad that it's Jay who is changing...hope he is going to make things right...

One of the Best in The Season and Series
shelbythuylinh9 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Really Jay, Hank, and Haley need to find a way to save their freedom and jobs as the FBI is onto them there. Over in the the death of Roy Walton.

As Jay finest hour there. As Jay tries to find dirt on the agent through a troubled relative. But that the agent is not so squeaky clean.

Voight seems to be ahead of everything. And may have to keep some of the members out to protect them. Jay finally stood up to his mentor despite the rough year they have had;

Knowing he wants to be in and nearly cost him his engagement to Haley. The ending is satisfying as need to see to be believed. No way those three would had gone down.

Thanks CPD fans.

Tracy Spiridakos and Jesse Lee Soffer are a true blessing. They can do anything. Hopefully, the second half of the season won't waste their talent. Keep giving them these great storylines, please!

COME BACK...
marcin-pieniazek18 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Probably the best episode of S09... the old "GOOD" Hank is back and Jay has grown "COJONES"... I give 10⭐ on IMDb...

BTW: I still miss Alvin and the "OLD" Voight with a cage and silos... I have to inject S01...

I saw a bit more brutal ending of episodes like "Start digging" next to the silos, but still (just in my opinion) Hank slipped again so easy...

ANOTHER AMAZING EPISODE
kirara-532911 January 2022
Best episode of the season; right up there with "In The Dark" (9.04). Halstead and Upton are most definitely carrying the show, and this arc is the most exciting one we've had in a looooong time. Amazing chemistry, amazing performances.

great episode
Lythas_858 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Hailey is annoying and Halstead bending the rules... well, it would happen sooner or later.. it is just like /the walking dead.. everybody starts nice and trying to help everybody.. but soon, after you see a random stranger hurting someone you love or abuse your kindness, things start to get real, people start killing without remorse.. just like this show... dude starts as a boy scout then realizes things are not so black and white.. specially if it concerns you.. i doubt jay boy scout would be so calm and collected if a serial killer got hayley.. he would bust all doors looking for her no doubt about it

anyways, the way they just made everything go away.. it is always like this and then next episode 0 mention about it.

Jay...stop it
denise-8815220 January 2022
I am SO incredibly tired of Jay's moral conscience looming over everyone, especially Voight. Jay's like his brother on Chicago Med...gotta do the right thing and definitely lord it over everyone else. Writers...stop it.... Do the right thing, Jay, but don't sidearm others...bordering on being a bully!!
