Oh come on!

Honestly what is wrong with human beings? Why are we becoming more superstitious? There are so many things wrong with this absolute pile that I hardly know where to begin! Let's ignore the D list celebs who are desperate to get on TV or people who are related to D list celebs and concentrate on our Ghostbusters. One of them is "an ordained exorcist"!!!! Ordained by who? Given that the Catholic church is touchy on the subject who ordained this man? So much of this show is utter suggestion and pre-researched BS. Come on people lets stop being so gullible.

Good entertainment
I love this show. I have recently discovered this and the non-celeb version on Discovery Plus. Previously I had been watching other paranormal investigation shows but this is my favourite.

Ian Lawman is a great part of the team as the psychic/exorcist. I recognise him from many years ago in Most Haunted.

Barri Ghai is the tech expert and comes across as a really sweet person.

Jayne Harris is a historian/psychologist on the show and is generally a very soothing person to have around for the people who live in the house and really knows her stuff as a paranormal investigator. Light years better than people such as Yvette Fielding!!

Some of the celebs have been a bit Z list except Toyah and Lawrence Lewellyn-Bowen but mostly interesting. Although I have to say that the scariest thing about the 'Lady Colin Campbell' episode was the lady herself. She would give anyone a fright whether it's day or night.

I can't wait for the new season to start. I have watched seasons 1 and 2 so far and I know they've been filming a new one recently.

By the way, whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this is top entertainment.

Way to convenient....

Casper the Ghost cartoons were more convincing!!!

Seriously, after watching 3 episodes the pattern will start to reveal itself. Don't waste your time on this nonsense, unless you're just looking to kill an hour because you're bored out of your mind and there is literally nothing else to watch.

Cheerio.

Utter dog toffee

Where to start? Oh my goodness this is the same predictable drivel every episode, it takes you about 5 minutes to suss the plot.

Acting is questionable, the "evidence" again is questionable, using an EMF meter in a house that cleary has TVs, and other electronic appliances in the vicinity, of course you are going to get readings.

I mean sure if you fancy a chuckle then give this a watch, but honestly you'd get more laugh's and actual results from mystery Inc, the only thing thia show is missing is a dog.

If you believe anything in this is real then more fool you, I know for a fact someone who's had these people round and it did hee haw.

Comically bad

What a load of rubbish, it's shocking this even got made. The acting and made up evidence is terrible and obviously fake, some of the "celebrities" I'd expect this from but surely Toyah Wilcox doesn't need to embarrass herself by doing this kind of thing!

Familiar face familiar rubbish

Ghai, Harris, and Lawman yet again peddling their nonsense.

They have no credibility whatsoever - well, except for the myth they create of themselves.

Lawman is particularly annoying with his fantastic claims - particularly of being an 'ordained exorcist'. Doesn't he know exorcists are APPOINTED within the Catholic church? Obviously the truth doesn't matter to him as long as he can make some cash from his con.

Then we have Ghai, another fool who thinks he knows everything, but it soon becomes clear he knows nothing as soon as he opens his mouth. Or perhaps he knows very well he knows nothing an relies on the gullibility of the audience.

What to say about Harris. She claims to have all kinds of qualifications, from psychologist to herbalist, and an expert on haunted dolls. She still make claims about being a company owner - one which folded in 2015. Just another chancer.

And all of this really shines through in the programme, which is as ridiculous as the three presenters. It is junk.

Lost its meaning
leftwichb-5144913 February 2024
I am a fan of the paranormal, have been for years, but this show has gone down hill fast, it now appears to be very suggestive and on searching about the property, they then tell the exorcist what the property was like in the past even telling him the details of the said property and its pass occupants and then pick one of the said occupants and that is it, that is the person or persons haunting the property.

Some of the so called celebs are even people i have never heard of in the UK.

On the basis of this show, it comes up as a fake paranormal show just to pay the rent for the cast, so sad to see this go down hill very fast, please no more clebe help my house?

UTTER RUBBISH
harrymarks-452679 February 2024
I couldn't even finish season 1 episode 1, So the crew who I can't even remember there names have no clue what's going on just muddling through the episode not really getting any answers, the tattoo guy who's supposed to be a "medium" has no real input you'd expect him to find answers and communicate with the spirits.no. He's sat in nerve centre watching screens while guy 1 is in the house gormlessly sitting on the stairs gathering sod all evidence, But the crowning glory was the apparent captured poltergeist activity of George best's book being moved, when they first discover the book has been pulled from the shelf it's pretty much hanging off the shelf a few inchs, but when they review the footage. Yes you see the book move but it only over hangs the shelf a few centimetres they couldn't even get the continuity right between staged shots (pee up and brewery springs to mind), I had to laugh and rewind what a load of (input rude word). I sat through more to see if they show extra footage to show it moving again ...but no. I'd had enough by now that's 40 minutes I'm not getting back. Oh and There's only 3 seasons of it.. who's sat through 3 (input rude words) seasons of this.... I'm done.

Really?
keithmwarwick-2049731 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This show is so bad, so in-your-face fake, that it is almost beyond description.

The 'ordained' (really?!) exorcist claims, in the first episode of the second series, to have been a medium to Princess Diana; current research strongly suggests this is simply not true! Wow!

Playing on people's minds, playing mind games, using suggestion, jumping to outrageous conclusions, making wildly vacuous links between dead people and houses, and therefore capitalising on people's fears and insecurities, is not at all OK. Providing faked voice recordings and using mini Bluetooth speakers; having pre-provided details of the property being investigated, and then acting as if they are reading the house and the spirits, when is a fallacy of outrageous dishonesty, is incredibly dishonest. A very sharp practice.

This type of entertainment has victims; either the viewers and/or the people who own the alleged haunted buildings.

That the makers are deliberately misleading viewers, and some of the owners, is a degraded, deranged, form of entertainment.

Cancel this gutter garbage!
