The United Kingdom’s The Daily Mail is reporting that Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks is in negotiations to join the cast of Sally Potter-directed 1960’s anti-nuclear war movie “Bomb.” She will join the cast that already included Ell Fanning (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Super 8”) and Alice Englert (“Singularity,” “Sumo Joe”). The site also reported that Alessandro Nivola (“Face/Off,” “Jurassic Park III”) has already been cast and Annette Bening (“American Beauty,” “The Kids Are All Right”) is being considered for a part in the film. It is not known at this time on the role that Hendricks will play in the film. The film is about two teenage girls who became involved with the nuclear ban movement and the sexual revolution. Hendricks is best known for her role in the television series “Mad Men.” She recently appeared in the movies “Drive” and “Detachment” this year.
