Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther remains one of the best-realised versions of the character in recent history. Black Panther is a popular character who has made multiple appearances in some of Marvel’s greatest projects, be it Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Iron Man: Armoured Adventures, or even the upcoming video game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.

The Black Panther which was introduced in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War remains one of the best versions of the character in modern media, one that was expended on with Ryan Coogler’s 2018 MCU entry, Black Panther. Doctor Doom has been touted to be one of the main antagonists of the MCU as the studio’s plans with Kang the Conqueror seemed to have taken a back burner due to Jonathan Majors’ firing. The character has been one of the most beloved villains in the Marvel universe and fans have been waiting for his arrival into the franchise.
Ahead of his rumored appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars, Doctor Doom made a cameo in the Disney Plus series X-Men ‘97. The latest episode of the series sees him aligned with the Zero Tolerance group, which is headed by Bastion and also has Zemo. However, Doom’s involvement with the group has irked fans as the character is not as villainous as the others.

Who would have guessed the author of A Song of Ice and Fire novels George R.R. Martin, to be a Marvel fan? Usually, writers of his stature often claim to be neck deep into von-Goethe, Hemingway, and the obvious Shakespearean dramas. But Martin broke stereotypes after claiming to be an avid comic book fan, particularly inclined towards Marvel, more than DC.

During an interview with The Independent, George R.R. Martin spoke highly of Marvel Comics and its impact on his writing. While explaining why his preference particularly shifted towards Marvel over DC, Martin praised Stan Lee’s Spider-Man to be more refreshing than DC’s Superman.

The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is unarguably considered one of the most successful shows ever created by Marvel Animation. With a perfectly star-studded cast and a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the series showed the earth’s mightiest superheroes from the comics teaming up to form the Avengers and defeat evil.
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
But what fans do not know is that this very series would have almost revived one major fan-favorite character from the dead: Peter Parker from The Spectacular Spider-Man series. However, Drake Bell getting cast to voice the friendly neighborhood superhero in Ultimate Spider-Man eventually ended up ruining the plans, leaving fans robbed.

Spider-Man is one of Marvel’s premiere properties, one that was out of Marvel’s Studios’ hands until 2016. Still having the split the difference with Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios has had the opportunity to capitalize on the IP by incorporating the character into their shared universe. However, this has caused the MCU depiction to be just one iteration of the multiple versions of the character across all media.
Tom Holland as Spider-Man
Tom Holland already has to compete with the Spider-Verse animated films being helmed by Sony, which feature another version of Peter Parker and has a host of Spider-People at its disposal to throw at the audience. It now seems that Holland might have more competition with being Spider-Man, after the head writer for Spider-Man: The Animated Series has revealed how ready he is to jump back into action.

X-Men: The Animated Series is officially returning, much to the delight of fans. While DC animation had dominated the previous few decades with hits like Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond, Batman: The Animated Series, and Superman: The Animated Series, Marvel had its fair share of cultural and sleeper hits, like Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Spider-Man: The Animated Series, along with the aforementioned X-Men series which has been rebranded as X-Men ’97.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is as huge as it can get with countless superheroes and superhero teams and the many iterations of them in the comics as well as on the big screen. Yet the Avengers have remained the top-tier team in both formats, closely followed by the band of space misfits, the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers
Both teams have often found themselves pitted against each other in one or the other fan discussions. Although there have been a few instances where both teams went head to head, there hasn’t been a clear winner. Yet James Gunn, writer-director of the MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, reckons that the Guardians would be a clear winner in such a fight.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" ended with a new team of Guardians led by Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper). One of their number was Phyla (Kai Zen), a young white-haired girl and freed test subject of evil geneticist the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji).
If you're a comics fan, then yes, you likely realized that this was indeed the Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation of the hero Phyla-Vell. If you only watch the movies, you're still thinking (to quote Korath the Pursuer), "Who?!" Well, let me explain.
In the comics, Phyla is the daughter of Captain Marvel — the alien warrior Mar-Vell, not Carol Danvers. Annette Benning played a female version of Mar-Vell in 2019's "Captain Marvel," but the character is traditionally male. Mar-Vell and his progeny are Kree, the imperious race to which "Guardians of the Galaxy" villain Ronan The Accuser (Lee Pace) belonged. The Kree have both blue and pink-shaded skin...

"Bones" enjoyed an enviable 12 season run, but not all of the main cast was there to enjoy that success in its totality. One face who left after just a single season was the actor Jonathan Adams.
The title of "Bones" is a double entendre, referring both to physical human bones and the show's lead, Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Bones is a forensic anthropologist at the "Jeffersonian" (read: Smithsonian) Institute in Washington DC. She uses her skills to study human remains and help the FBI — especially Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) — solve murder cases old and new. As a police procedural with a forensic edge, "Bones" walks in the footsteps of "CSI." Only on this show, it's not the scenes of crimes that are investigated, but the leftovers.
During the show's first season, Adams played Dr. Goodman, the Jeffersonian's administrator and Bones' boss. At the end of season 1, he...

Marvel’s Secret Invasion, streaming in weekly instalments on Disney Plus, is the ninth television series set in the MCU. Consisting of six episodes and created by showrunner Kyle Bradstreet, it is loosely based on a 2008 Marvel Comics event of the same name. However, whereas the comics event involved multiple superheroes, the TV series has been essentially reconfigured as a headlining show for Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury.
The show picks up thirty years after the events of Captain Marvel (2019), which introduced the Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens, lead by Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who became a close ally of Fury. However, as the show begins, a group of renegade Skrulls have grown tired of waiting three decades for Fury to deliver on his promise of finding them a new planet,...

Tim Roth will be part of the supporting cast of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination. Blonsky appears as one of Jennifer Walters' supervillain clients, with her trying to get him paroled; the "She-Hulk" trailers show the two meeting while he's imprisoned. Considering Walters is a cousin of Blonsky's nemesis, Bruce Banner, their attorney/client relationship probably isn't going to be the smoothest.
Blonsky was previously the main villain of 2008's "The Incredible Hulk," and the Marvel Cinematic Universe's second big bad after Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) in "Iron Man." When a villain survives the end of a Marvel movie, it's usually because there are greater plans for them. And yet, Roth wound up stuck in one of the longest hiatuses in the MCU. There was a 13-year gap between his initial role in "The Incredible Hulk" and his uncredited cameo in 2021's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,...

For the most devoted fans of “Sonic the Hedgehog,” the new blockbuster film coming this weekend will have the bonus of seeing — or rather hearing — Colleen O’Shaughnessey make her big-screen debut as Miles “Tails” Prower after playing the flying fox for eight years.

Whether you’re a toonhead or prefer live-action fare, Disney+ UK will surely have something Marvel-ous for you, and that’s because it’s in a prime position to bring you a wider selection of Marvel comic book TV series content than its Us counterpart.
Disney+ UK will feature five seasons of ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and is also streaming Hulu’s Runaways. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of classic Marvel animated series to catch up on, like Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and an opportunity to check out newer planet-hopping adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
There’s also further live-action series waiting in the wings – a Loki standalone series, a team up between Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and the debut of Ms Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight, among others, plus an animated What If? show that might have you asking yourself that very question about the possibility of more What If?...

The most recent trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has gotten a cool animated mashup version. The trailer uses the audio from the actual trailer and it's recreated visually using footage from the animated series Avengers Assemble, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Wolverine and the X-Men.
The video was created by Darth Blender and as you'll see everything matches up really well. I think you'll get a kick out of it, so enjoy!

If you're a fan of the popular 1989 anime series Cowboy Bebop, you might be interested in learning that it's getting a live-action series adaptation. Cowboy Bebop is a great anime and I'm curious to see how they handle this live action adaptation.
The series is being developed by Tomorrow Studios and a partnership between ITV Studios and Marty Adelstein. It will also be executive produced by Sunset Inc., which is the same studio that produced the original anime series.
On top of that, they've hired Marvel writer Chris Yost to write the adaptation! Yost recently wrote Thor: Ragnarok as well as animated projects such as The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Wolverine, and the X-Men, Hulk Vs., X-Men: Evolution and more. He's a talented writer and a great choice to take on this project.

Marvel has released sneak peek of their new Spider-Man animated series. It features a clip of Spidey in the heat of battle with Scorpion. The new series goes back to the origins of Spider-Man as a hero while Peter Parker discovers his powers and begins fighting crime in New York City.
It looks like something the kids will enjoy, but Marvel hasn't really impressed me with any of their animation projects since The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Since then things have just been going downhill, especially the animation quality.
Maybe some of you will enjoy this first look more than I did. Check it out and tell us what you think! The series is set to debut on Disney Xd this summer.

Additionally, he's directed Young Justice, Batman: The Dark Night Returns and the soon to be released Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, among others. In the first part of Vfk's interview with Oliva, we look at the action of Man of Steel, particularly the last twenty minutes or so, exploring the thought process that went into those sequences and, of course, the controversy that has surrounded it. I really enjoyed watching The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I like the story, animation and character designs for that show. As you know, Marvel and Disney cancelled that series and replaced it with another one called Avengers Assemble. This is our first look at footage from the series, and I've got to say I'm not impressed. I know the show is for kids; I'm just not a big fan of these character designs, the style, or animation. It looks cheap, but maybe that's what they're going for.

Preview images and clips for the last episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are now up. One show moving into that vacated airspace will be Beware The Batman. Anthony Ruivivar (Third Watch, Banshee) will voice Batman, Sumalee Montano (Transformers Prime) will handle voice duties for Katana and J. B. Blanc ( The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Blade anime series) will do the same for Alfred. Set to premiere this summer on Cartoon Network's DC Nation Block, here's a new promotional poster. A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie.

Last week, we brought you some fantastic character art for Ninjasauras Rex, an original animated series being developed by Emmy Award winning director Frank Paur (HBO's Spawn, X-Men: Evolution) and Steven Meyer (The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes). Today, we bring you some artwork for the pilot episode of the show!
The character descriptions that came with the concept art gave us a taste of the overall tone of the show. The pilot synopsis gives us even more insight into the relationship of the characters and their dynamics, the amount of action we can expect, as well as the mysterious world it takes place in. The dino-warrior series takes place in what seems like Feudal Japan, but in actuality, is a world where the country has become a mix of different races and languages. If you grew up spending Saturday mornings with a bowl of cereal in your lap that would spill onto your pjs while you religiously watched shows like Batman: The Animated Series and Gargoyles, then we have a treat for you! Here's some great looking character art for an original new animated series, Ninjasauras Rex, which is being developed by Emmy Award winning director Frank Paur.
His credits include the aforementioned Batman: The Animated Series and Gargoyles, as well HBO's Spawn, X-Men: Evolution, Men In Black: The Series, Hulk Vs. Wolverine, and many more -- essentially, the man shaped and monopolized your childhood. Paur is developing Ninjasauras Rex with frequent collaborator Steven Meyer (The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes).
Here's a short synopsis:
Ninjasauras Rex is a 1/2 hour animated adventure/comedy series that follows the exploits of a Ninja Tyrannosaurus Rex and his teenage sidekick Asper in what at first looks to be Feudal Japan.

We've been hearing rumors for awhile that Marvel would be cancelling their awesome animated series Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Today that rumor has been confirmed; the series is gone. It's a shame that this only got two seasons, as it was one of the best animated series on TV. The news was confirmed in a press release by Marvel that also revealed the show would be replaced by another Avengers series called Marvel's Avengers Assemble.
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes won’t be renewed for the 3rd Season. Marvel Animation will present their newly developed series Marvel’s Avengers Assemble in 2013.
The image above was released to promote the new series, which looks like it's going to fall more in line with Joss Whedon's Avengers film. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more Marvel characters introduced in the series though. We should get some more details at this year's Comic-Con.

Through Facebook, The Spectacular Spider-Man's Josh Keaton confirmed that we has recorded episodes of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes slated to debut later this year on Disney Xd, including the upcoming "Along Came A Spider." However, international airing of "Along Came A Spider" disappointingly reveal that his work has been dubbed over by Ultimate Spider-Man's Drake Bell. Bell plays Spider-Man in the latest Spidey cartoon. Keaton confirmed as such, this earlier this weekend, as seen in the image below. To sum it up, Josh Keaton, who played Spider-Man on The Spectacular Spider-Man, reprised the role for The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and has actually recorded multiple appearances for upcoming episodes. But all of those appearances were redubbed with voice work from Ultimate Spider-Man's Drake Bell, coordinated by executives at Marvel Television. Suffice it to say, fans are outraged about the changed and are hoping to find ways to get this fixed.
