What I found most appreciative about this episode is how vulnerable it makes its characters. We're starting to see the cracks underneath and as each episode goes by, we're noticing a change in their character. Everyone that was featured in this episode are swallowed by their misfortune or their enviousness and at this point in the show, it's pretty clear that they dug themselves in a hole so deep they cannot escape.
It was also an episode that didn't primarily feature Danny and Amy. Most of the spotlight is taken from Paul, Fumi and Naomi and that was probably because they (creators) wanted to flesh their characters out so it can connect with the main storyline. Paul and Naomi's I can get on board with their stories but Fumi's kind of came out of nowhere. I think that was just because she rarely did anything in the first 4 episodes but on top of that you had the introduction to Bobby and Michael who are essentially the comedic characters that are kind of just there. So far this was my least favorite episode. There was stuff to enjoy but there was also stuff that just didn't need to be there.
