- Jack's 24-hour "perfect game" of solving problems is put on the line when Liz needs relationship help and Tracy needs to learn his line for a commercial. Meanwhile, Jenna, Kenneth and Kelsey Grammer pull a con on Carvel.
- Jack is having a perfect day and succeeding at every task. He tries to channel his winning streak into helping Liz figure out her relationship with Carol. - Open with Jonathan telling Liz that for almost 24 hours Jack has been pitching a no-hitter of solving problems. This includes sex with Avery. Such a streak of good judgment is called a Reaganing and only three people in the world (Jack Welch, Lee Iacocca and Saddam Hussein) have ever done it. Liz has a problem: Carol is stopping in Newark for a layover and she needs to see him. Jack offers to take her in his limo.
Tracy tells Kenneth he has been asked to do a commercial for the Boys & Girls Club of America. Jenna has also received an honor, a "Free Ice Cream For Life" card from Carvel. She got it for performing on their Thanksgiving parade float. She sends Kenneth to get an ice cream cake for the crew.
In the car Liz tells Jack she is going to break up with Carol. Since she doesn't want to talk about the reason, Jack correctly guesses it must be a sex issue. Liz confesses she had an performance issue: "I freaked out and my junk closed for business. It's like Fort Knox down there."
Tracy shows up at his commercial shoot. All his has to do is say one line: "Boys & Girls Clubs of America: Be Great." Tracy seems to think lines get in the way of his process.
Kenneth returns with the cake. It is signed from "Jenny" and Jenna is worried a different woman will get credit. She wants him to take back the cake. Kenneth doesn't like wasting food because of how bad things are going for his family's farm.
Jack tells Liz he's not surprised she's having sexual issues, given all her hang-ups. Jack considers fixing Liz his greatest challenge. She tells him this has happened before and when Jack pries she confesses the problem is related to "the roller skates."
Tracy's first take consists of him saying "What's my cue? You know what, it doesn't matter, I don't know my lines."
Kenneth comes back with cash from the cake. Since the store assumed the cake had been purchased with a credit card they gave him $23. Jenna thinks they could run a "short grift" on Carvel. The plan is that Jenna intentionally orders a wrongly-worded cake from one cashier and Kenneth gets cash back from another.
We see that Liz and Jack's limo is stuck in traffic caused by Tracy's commercial shoot.
The next time the camera pans to Tracy, he says, "I'm sorry, I have an erection, I think it's the sound of the skateboards."
Using a Ronald Reagan impression Jack gets Liz to tell him the roller skates story: When Liz was 9 she rollerskating in the house. While waiting for the bathroom she pulled down her underpants (to save time once she got in) and slipped, pulling a poster of Tom Jones on top of her. Her mother saw her lying underneath the Tom Jones image with her panties around her ankles, went to her room and took down the posters of all her favorite people (Kermit, Mike Schmidt, etc.). Liz now thinks that "sex makes the people go away." Jacks says "I'm going to see what's up with this traffic," and steps out of the limo.
Jenna explains to Kenneth that they are stealing from Carvel. She gives him his cut and reminds how much his family back home could use the money.
The next time Tracy gets cued up he is shirtless. Jack walks on set and the director asks if he can help get Tracy on track. He grabs a jar of jelly beans and apologizes to Reagan for failing him. This gives Jack an idea. He tells the director to make Tracy eat a huge mouthful of jelly beans. While he's chewing, Jack does a dead-on impression of Tracy saying his line.
Carvel figured out Jenna's scam and gave her a "No Ice Cream For Life" card. Kenneth now needs money and tells her he has an idea for a long grift. Kenneth asks who was on the Thanksgiving float with Jenna and it turns out to be Kelsey Grammer. He tells them he's in. They give Pete a sketch script that involves 20 ice cream cakes. Cut to Kelsey at Carvel ordering 21 cakes that say "Frajer Reunion -- 2010" with his "Free Ice Cream For Life" card. Pete reimburses Kelsey for 20 of the cakes. Kelsey then returns one of the misspelled cakes, along with 20 boxes filled with newspaper, and gets cash back for all 21 cakes.
Jack tracks Liz down a few blocks away. She still thinks that sex is horrible. When Jonathan calls with word that gifts have begun rolling in in honor of his perfect day of problem-solving, Jack tells him to have them sent back. "I didn't do it," Jack tells Jonathan. "I failed."
While mailing his check home, Kenneth sees that one of the Carvel employees was fired. He tells Jenna and Kelsey he's not interested in any future scams.
Jack and Liz arrive at the airport to meet Carol. Jack tells her she's "great" and should take Carol into an airport bathroom for sex. She mentions that her sexual problem occurred in Las Vegas. When Jack reminds her how much Tom Jones plays there, Liz recalls that a Tom Jones billboard was visible just outside their hotel room window. She recalls her other sexual problem instances and finds a connection to Tom Jones each time. A fired-up Liz runs into the Newark terminal before realizing that Carol is actually at JFK.
