- The beautiful Cherie Laurent starts us off with an amazing clip with visuals plus music that also includes inspirational thoughts to help get us get our mind ready for this upcoming episode. Recapping last week's episode, Cherie will be revisiting one of Berlin's most famous and best-loved sights; the rococo Charlottenburg Palace, built for Sophie Charlotte, Queen consort in Prussia. Cherie gives us a breathtaking tour of the "Porcelain Chamber" in the Charlottenburg Palace, completed in 1706. We'll see up close the Chinese and Japanese porcelain from the mid-1600s onward. We'll witness rooms completely decorated with ceramics displayed on brackets, mantelpieces, shelves, and sometimes even on the floor. Cherie will also continue with the history of notable women. In this segment; Cherie will feature Boudica or Boudicca, who was a queen of the British Celtic Iceni tribe who led an uprising against the conquering forces of the Roman Empire in AD 60/61. Cherie will also recreate and enact Boudica with dress and images that will sure to capture everyone's imagination.
