The intriguing climbs and climbs.

Theodora is still on the case, and unearths a new name, retired teacher, Roger Kaplan.

The transition from horror to thriller series is now very much complete, compared to the first few episodes, it now feels very different. I enjoyed it, it's yet another interesting watch, with several loose ends feeling like they're nearing completion. The main question of course, who is The Watcher, and will we learn it?

Some really chilling moments, including the realisation of what's actually been happening under the house, and who's involved.

I finally got the scene that I was waiting for, which was the moment where Nora and Karen tell one another how they really feel about one another.

I'm ready for the finale, this was very good, 8/10.

Episode 6

Warning: Spoilers
The ride is almost over and what a ride it has been. It has not always made sense, it has not always been the most enthralling television show, but it definitely is something that has people talking.

This almost felt like a finale at times as they attempted to wrap up a lot of things: a lot of things except for the one that we want answered: who is the watcher?

This show has hooked a nation and particularly residents of New Jersey like myself. I just hope that the ending is not a huge letdown. You're going to disappoint some people no matter what you do, but I hope we get something that at least makes sense.

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Dean and Nora, they follow The Watcher in the tunnel. Chamberland stops helping Dean and Nora to find The Watcher. Theodora tells the story about the Flanagan family, who got stalked by The Watcher. Dean and Nora confronted Roger Kaplan. Roger threatens Carter with a gun, but it was all just Dean's nightmare. Dean and Nora want to sell the house, but they can't because Karen wrote a bad review. Solid Episode of The Watcher Season 1, it was an okay Episode. But not enough action to give it a 8 out of 10. Roger made his appearence in this episode, seems like we will see him again in the last episode!

God-awful acting and dialogue makes me want to leave the room, the house altogether
richiehodev22 October 2022
This penultimate episode falls flat on every facet: from the acting, dialogue, and story progression.

The hidden tunnel wrinkle from the previous episode doesn't get explored, as inexplicable as that may seem. The homeowners just accept it as part of the house and move on to other unproven leads.

The characters of Theodora Birch, Roger Kaplan, John Graff, and the Winslow family has reached the apex of what I would consider insufferable. These characters are melodramatic and abhorrent. Their eccentricities do nothing to contribute to the mystery of the story - in fact it's rather pointless and distracting. They scream and yell at odd moments, go on long diatribes about tangentially unrelated topics like "The Fourth Turning" in the middle of a sentence, and generally gives you no reason for you to care for what they have to say or feel.

This series cannot end soon enough and at this point, I couldn't care less about what the ending is going to be in this adapted series that is "based on a true story".
