I love this episode.
And not only is the opening sequence the full song...it's actually the only time I know that it is an extra long extended mix.
There's extra music as well as extra I know, you know's.
I don't really have any specifics to speak of... and I'm not sure if it was intentional, but were Peters and Boon supposed to essentially be Sean and Gus as old men??? Or is it just older cops.
There is one scene where Shawn and Gus make a Rocky references in a very subtle way to Apollo Creed... Boon: "You guys just don't know when to quit, do ya?" Shawn: "No, Gus and I never know when to throw in the towel" Gus: "We're ready for the next round" Shawn: "Ring the bell" Gus: "Ding, ding" (Which Rocky and Apollo say when they are sparring at the end of Rocky 2. Ding, ding)
