- A young man is sent back to his native Italy to take care of his sick grandpa. He finds himself in a small corporate town where everybody lives under the myth of the most famous scooter in the world: Vespa. Burdened by debts, dreaming to be able to buy himself a camera to become a photographer, he is forced to go to work in the Vespa plant. He is at risk of a dangerous surrender to the routine and just when he is ready to give up his dream of becoming a photographer he finds a local girl who pushes him to follow his calling. - Francesco a young man who dreams to have a camera and living his life taking pictures, is sent back to Italy where he came from to the US as little kid, to take care of his grandpa who broke his arm. In Pontedera, little town where everybody works for the factory that produces the scooter Vespa, he finds himself lost in a world that he does not recognize as his. Little by little he learns about the epic moments after the war when the scooter was invented and became a success worldwide. With credit cards calling him for payments, Francesco decides to accept an offer for a temporary job at the plant.
