OA Has Issues With the Law and Muslim Faith
shelbythuylinh25 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
He has to confront on those that over on his faith. And in that over in upholding the law as an FBI agent.

He greets his former Mosque leader who files a complaint against another FBI agent that is the head like over anti-terrorism.

OA and that agent who is a jerk but gets the job done regardless of consequence, butt heads and how that both will go down the line will get on each other's nerves over tactics in the not too distant future.

As glad that OA is an Egyptian and Muslim American but proves to be a good guy. As he and the other FBI agents do not want another 9/11 from ever happening as nobody does.

Plus blasting Muslim or Arab Americans due to their skin like that fateful day or with Asian Americans with COVID.

Disappointed in the predictability
CrimeDrama123 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was hoping for a lot more in the first episode since before the Olympics. The plot was not very original.

O. A. Tackling the shooter but unable to control the ghost gun was ridiculous. An experienced FBI agent would instinctively control the gun or the gun hand immediately but O. A. (military background) does not and the shooter gets off another shot. O. A. Never gets his hand on the ghost gun, he only pushes the bottom of the grip to get it out of the shooter's hand. Weak! It really makes me question if the show is even using a tactical or law enforcement advisor who knows the keys to disarming a shooter. Essentially, you control the gun, you control the shooter. The struggle for the gun didn't add drama, it weakened the entire scene because it wasn't believable. I will keep saying this, EVERYTHING in a crime drama must be believable to the viewer.

Meanwhile, CBS had better do something about editing commercials into show segments. This same problem occurs with every CBS show I watch/record. Just before a commercial break, there is dramatic music at the end of the scene but it gets cut off and the screen goes black but then you hear the tail end of the music and the CBS logo appears...and then the commercials play. Very choppy. Every commercial break. It is beyond annoying.

Getting less and less believable
spikeluvr12 March 2022
The storylines on this show are getting less and less believable. The ploy of "good cop/bad cop" is a pretty standard practice so why would an FBI agent feel that was immoral and resist doing that in order to save lives? And when the terrorist was close enough to his target to kill him why would FBI agents merely pull the intended target to the ground and not whisk him away while one of their agents struggles with the shooter? What would have happened if the shooter overpowered him and was now two feet away from his target and armed? The last few episodes have holes big enough to drive a truck through.

Anyone believe CBS's teaser of Muslim terrrorists?
amorehl-93-9933823 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The synopsis read: "When a Muslim college student and his younger brother are murdered, the team connects with the outraged Imam of OA's former mosque who insists the victims were wrongly targeted as terrorists." Since this is Dick Wolf's fantasy "FBI" show, of course it turns out that the victims were NOT terrorists. Instead, it was a white "wannabe cop" accusing them of being part of a "sleeper cell."
