A psychological hostage story
rgcustomer23 January 2011
This is the story of a woman who has a drug problem. It's severe enough that she doesn't have custody of her child, lands in the hospital, and later ends up the captive of a man who seems to be not that stable.

The situation gets worse when the guy's co-conspirator shows up to clarify the situation, that she will be the sexual slave of one or both of them (probably him).

She's been told that while she was unconscious, there was a terrorist attack. It's not safe to go outside. But beyond saving her own skin, she needs to know her child is safe.

I won't say too much more, to avoid spoiling the experience. But it kept my attention the entire time. I thought the acting was good all around, particularly the three main characters. Not to diminish the work of the others, I think we're seeing a new acting legend begin with Peter Coady, who has been in several films recently, and I hope we'll be seeing more from him.

I enjoyed the film, and the only thing I would suggest is leaving the end more ambiguous, by removing one skyline. Normally I prefer concrete answers, but taking the story as a whole, ambiguity also works here.
