This is one of the worst-directed, worst-written, worst-acted movies I have ever seen. My husband and I could hardly believe it was selected as a Lifetime Movie Network featured film.
Even little things were badly done, like the voice dubbing of Ana Morariu, who played Michelle/Lola. She is beautiful, no doubt, but for whatever reason, they were unable to use her real voice, and someone had to overdub. She is not Italian, but her character is supposed to have an Italian accent, so they must have hired an Italian actress for the voice dubbing. They did not even try very hard to synchronize the lip movement.
There are too many things wrong with this film to name them all. Just for starters, the plot is shot full of holes; characters smile or laugh at the wrong moments; the detectives are badly miscast; the logistics of the chase scenes are not worked out; and on and on and on.
This movie was so bad it was laughable. It is an excellent candidate for a Mystery Science Theater 2000 or 3000 satirical commentary.
