Danielle Brooks: [almost midnight as Annie enters] Late night.
Annie Walker: My boss is still there. I'm not complaining.
Danielle Brooks: Roast beef on the top shelf.
Annie Walker: [at refrigerator] Yeah. I'm thinking more Rocky Road.
[clears throat]
Annie Walker: You're waiting up for me?
Danielle Brooks: Well, I have a favor to ask you. Actually, Chloe does. She had her third-grade field trip to Mount Vernon bomb out.
Annie Walker: [a spoonful of ice-cream] Ow!
Danielle Brooks: Ow?
Annie Walker: Sensitive tooth.
Danielle Brooks: Dentist.
Annie Walker: Stop. Chloe.
Danielle Brooks: Anyway, her class needs a replacement field trip, and she kind of volunteered you.
Annie Walker: Me?
Danielle Brooks: And the Smithsonian. It will be kind of a Night At The Museum kind of thing, except during the day. You know Chloe. Anyway, her teacher called.
Annie Walker: When?
Danielle Brooks: This Thursday. 8:30 to 12:00. Thirty third-graders, two teachers, a couple of moms, me...
Annie Walker: That's in two days.
Danielle Brooks: Yeah. It would mean a lot. And I'd get to see where you work. You know, meet your peeps. This... this boss who works at the museum until 11:30 at night.
Annie Walker: Yes. You should see where I work.
Danielle Brooks: Really?
Annie Walker: Yeah. And meet my boss. I'll set something up.
Danielle Brooks: You're the best.
Annie Walker: I've got to go to bed.
Danielle Brooks: Right.
Annie Walker: [sisterly goodnight kiss, but...] Ow!
Danielle Brooks: Dentist.
Annie Walker: Stop.
[rushes off]
