- The violence is similar in style to that seen in 'Godzilla'-type features, with fairly basic special effects showing the giant creatures as they rampage through coastal towns or demolish military ships.
- However, some infrequent moderate gore is seen on a handful of occasions.
- In one scene a woman is killed by the giant shark when it whacks her with its tail, resulting in a small blood pool of blood.
- You see a female character lying dead on the deck of a ship, a piece of metal has pierced her abdomen, but it is on her side away from the camera. You see some pooled blood beneath her.
- Three characters are shown bruised and bloodied after a helicopter crash.
- A giant crocodile eats a man, though this is offscreen and only implied.
- A giant shark attacks a navy ship, eventually sinking it.
- A giant shark and crocodile are shown locked in combat numerous times.
- A giant shark attacks and destroys a submarine, and swallows another.
