- Patrick Jane: You're not dead.
- Kristina Frye: You're talking to a ghost and still you're a skeptic. You are impossible.
- Patrick Jane: I call on the spirits... I ask for the presence of the departed soul of Kristina Frye. Reveal yourself, Kristina Frye. Can you hear me, Kristina?
- Kristina Frye: I can hear you, Patrick.
- Patrick Jane: Well, thank you. Thank you for speaking with me.
- Kristina Frye: I'm so glad you called on me. I knew in the end you'd become a believer.
- Patrick Jane: I am not a believer.
- Kristina Frye: I hear your sadness in your voice. Don't be sad, Patrick. Death is not the end. The afterlife's a beautiful place. It's peaceful here. Happy.
- Bret Stiles: It seems that your friend John is planning a surprise party for you.
- Patrick Jane: How do you know what Red John is planning?
- Bret Stiles: It doesn't matter.
- Patrick Jane: It certainly matters to me. How do you know what Red John is planning?
- Bret Stiles: My dear chap, I know so much more than you or Red John could ever imagine. Accept this as a gift from a friend. Or not.
- Patrick Jane: [quietly] You're the FBI's undercover agent, right?
- Brother Steven Wench: What?
- Patrick Jane: I need a favor. Just a small one. Get rid of 'em.
- Brother Steven Wench: [loudly] Guys, take a break.
- [the members in the group leave]
- Brother Steven Wench: [quietly] I have no idea what you're talking about.
- Patrick Jane: Well, when I just popped the bag right now, your hand went for your hip. You were reaching for your gun. It's a cop instinct. Never goes away.
- Patrick Jane: Why offer only six dimensions? Is--is it to hold off a couple of dimensions to sell later?
- Bret Stiles: [laughs] No, I think six is quite enough.
- Patrick Jane: [on examining Celia Jovanovich's body] Lisbon!
- Teresa Lisbon: Yeah?
- Patrick Jane: Check between her toes!
- Teresa Lisbon: Why?
- Patrick Jane: Because I don't really want to.
- Vint Molinari: Well, who knows if Red John had anything to do with this? As far as I know, Frye painted the face herself.
- Teresa Lisbon: Why would she do that?
- Vint Molinari: [scoffs] Well, the woman thinks she talks to the dead. She's half a nutcase walking out the door.
- Bret Stiles: Red John has her, right? It's a terrible thing. First your wife and child, now Miss Frye. Sounds like he's jealous, Patrick. It sounds like... he wants to take away everything and everyone that you care about. It's a form of love, you know?
- Teresa Lisbon: You seen Jane?
- Kimball Cho: Yeah, he's upstairs. Vander Hoek took him there to see Celia's room.
- Teresa Lisbon: Is he okay?
- Kimball Cho: I guess. Why?
- Teresa Lisbon: Nothing. Stiles just seems to get to him a little bit.
- Kimball Cho: That's a neat trick.
- Teresa Lisbon: Yeah, I wish he'd teach it to me.
- Patrick Jane: Did you see Red John?
- Kristina Frye: Who?
- Patrick Jane: Red John... Red John--the man that abducted you.
- Kristina Frye: [smiles] I don't understand what you're talking about.
- Teresa Lisbon: Why don't we just skip the part where you lie to me and get right to the part where you tell me what you're gonna do?
- Patrick Jane: Red John let Kristina make a call that could be traced. He's playing a game.
- [walks away]
- Teresa Lisbon: With who?
- Patrick Jane: [walks upstairs and looks back at Lisbon] See you later.
- Patrick Jane: [quietly] So if you say you'll give us the videos, the killer will identify himself. He will be the man that insists most forcefully that you shouldn't give them to us.
- Bret Stiles: What if I killed her?
- Patrick Jane: You?... You wouldn't hurt a fly.
- Bret Stiles: [chuckles, then loudly] Patrick has offered a very, um, persuasive argument. I'm going to be handing over the videos to him.
- Patrick Jane: Eh, three years is nothing.
- Teresa Lisbon: It's the way of the world. He's selling Stiles. He's a big fish. The FBI has to pay. If you think about this stuff too much, you'll drive yourself crazy.
- [first lines]
- Teresa Lisbon: [as Rigsby runs to the crime scene] Ah... Nice of you to show up, Pokey.
- Wayne Rigsby: Yeah, sorry I'm late. Bad traffic on the 50.
- Teresa Lisbon: Looks like the coroner's finishing up. Talk to him. See what he's got.
- [walks away]
- Grace Van Pelt: Hey, "Traffic" got lipstick on you.
- Wayne Rigsby: [wipes his face] What? Where?
- Grace Van Pelt: Hope she gave you breakfast. Forensics ate all the bagels.
- Teresa Lisbon: You--come on. Let's talk.
- Vigilance Guard #1: Before we do, can I just ask: are you happy in your lives?
- Teresa Lisbon: [looks at Cho, exasperated] Sit down!
- Brother David: God is in your mind, right here.
- [points to his own forehead]
- Brother David: All you have to do to see him is clear out the bad energy.
- Kimball Cho: I'll repeat the question. Have you seen Celia Jovanovich in the past 48 hours?
- Brother David: I've been visiting my mother in Chino. I got back this morning.
- Kimball Cho: That's all I need. Thanks.
- Brother David: Aren't you interested in the path to spiritual clarity and personal freedom?
- Kimball Cho: No.
- Wayne Rigsby: [to someone on the phone] Yeah, that sounds great. I can make it there by 7:00.
- [whispers]
- Wayne Rigsby: Listen, I have to go. I'll speak to you later. Okay, bye.
- [hangs up]
- Grace Van Pelt: If you're seeing "Traffic on the 50" tonight, you think she could set her alarm a little earlier?
- Kimball Cho: [hangs up phone] Boss, we caught one. Downtown.
- Teresa Lisbon: [Jane stares off into space looking dismal] Are you okay?
- [last lines]
- Patrick Jane: We're up. Let's go.
