The closing credits (and the end of the opening credits) feature backgrounds folding in and out. This is a reference to Al Jaffee's fold-ins which have been featured on the back cover of almost every Mad Magazine since 1964.
There's always a continuation of either one of the parodies or one of the bits (mostly, the bits) after the credits.
