A late night chemist's shop is the setting for several strands of plot coming together involving narcotics, robbery and murder. The film moves along too fast and it all becomes confusing. It needed more clarity as characters are thrust into the story without sufficient explanation. There were two women I thought were the same person until one got murdered! It has a good cast but some like second billed William Sylvester are hardly in it. The movie had potential but didn't fulfil it. Not one of the better films in the Edgar Wallace series from Anglo-Amalgamated.
It does have a good closing scene on location in Piccadilly Circus underground station which will bring a smile of nostalgia to older Londoners.
