When Connor's machine opens a small anomaly the ARC team insist that it must be shut down but Philip refuses pointing out that no dinosaur could get through such a small anomaly. Matt agrees on condition that security is increased. It isn't long before something goes wrong
a large insect comes through, the guard in the room throws it back and moments later thousands of the things come through and devour the guard. The room is meant to be sealed but they start eating through the reinforced concrete walls. Once they are loose in the ARC they will have to be quick to find a way to neutralise them as Philip has told them that he will initiate a system that will incinerate everything in the ARC to prevent them escaping into the wild; this would of course mean the death of everybody inside.
This was another good episode with some genuinely chilling moments; anybody with a phobia about insects is going to be creeped out! It was surprising that even after things went wrong Connor continued to trust Philip for so long; that did serve to keep tensions high between the team members though. At more than one point it looked as if a member of the team might not make it and given that key characters have been lost several times before the risk seemed real. I was starting to think that the writers had forgotten about Rex, Abby's pet dinosaur, but he makes a welcome return here. The ending suggested that things are going to get pretty serious soon; I'm looking forward to discovering just what Philip and April Are up to; whatever it is I'm certain that it is nothing good!
