Dexter is well and truly back on form. All his scenes in this episode are comedy gold. The scene of him and Miles debating whether or not he should be allowed to keep his fish in the classroom is brilliant. And there's a great spark between him and Adrian, especially the innocence of him wanting to take her back to his house...so he can show her his Rocky DVDs.
Angelo and Charlie's storyline is, bizarrely, written like a comedy but played as if it's supposed to be serious.Angelo's "confession" that nothing happened between him and Shandi is faintly absurd and although he seems to keep digging himself a hole afterwards Charlie does seem to overreact quite a bit.
The stuff with Miles and Shandi is just weird.Whatever his new positive outlook on life, it's hard to view Miles as the sort of person who'd take a rather scary girl that he's only just met back to his house to make out with her.And then discover she's the daughter of someone he knows.
