The 2023-2024 primetime television season looked nothing like previous years, with reruns, unscripted shows, and international imports populating broadcast networks’ lineups. It’s an interesting month ahead on Hulu, as the streamer rolls out some of the series it’s been keeping in its back pocket for the holiday season.
On December 15, the first season of Such Brave Girls will arrive. The sitcom follows a dysfunctional family – and we mean dysfunctional! – that includes real-life sisters Kat Sadler and Lizzie Davidson. British comedian Sadler has previously written for The News Quiz, Hypothetical, and Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable, but this is her first big TV project. “Everything we joke about in the show is from a place of lived experience,” she told Funny Women. “I wish I could say this is a heart-warming show about overcoming trauma, but that would be a lie. It’s about three toxic, damaged egomaniacs manipulating the world and each other for their own personal gain, vengeance and glory…just like in Little Women.” Sounds good!

When people decide to become alligators, there’s a very good chance that they aren’t getting into it for money. While it’s true that alligator hunters can live comfortably, it’s certainly not on the list of the world’s highest paying professions. However, since its release in 2010, Swamp People has shown the world a side of alligator hunting that they never knew existed. The show has also created some reality stars in the process. Of course, hunting for alligators isn’t glamorous, the job has managed to intrigue millions of people and it’s also helped the cast members make more money than

Truly Original, the Banijay-backed producer behind the Ink Master and Swamp People franchises, has been dipping its toes into new areas of unscripted television with a remake of a British panel show for The CW and is now working on a hybrid animated series.
Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock, Co-Presidents and Co-CEOs of the company, which also produces The Real Housewives of Atlanta, told Deadline that they have received a pilot order from one of the broadcast networks for a new type of unscripted format.
It marks the latest producer to move into this new area after Kids Say The Darndest Things exec producer Eric Schotz told Deadline that it was developing a mix of non-scripted comedy entertainment and animation – a genre that was previously unaffordable in the non-scripted world.

It goes without saying that “Swamp People,” on the History Channel might be one of the most baffling shows around if you don’t know what you’re watching. The premise is all about alligator hunters, which is not a job for the weak – if we might say so ourselves. This show follows families who work very hard during gator hunting season to try and capture the biggest, baddest gators in the swamp to make the most money for their families to live off of in the off-season. It’s not a secret that many of these hunters live very simple lives,

Depending on what kind of TV you’re into, you may have never heard of the History Channel series, Swamp People. Although the show isn’t for everybody, it’s built a dedicated fan base since its debut in 2010. Although the show’s cast members, who work as alligator hunters, are used to living relatively modest lives their financial situation has changed drastically since being on the show. While they may not make as much money as people on more popular TV shows, they’ve definitely be able to command a pretty penny. But just how much does the cast of Swamp People make?

This article contains Vikings season 6 spoilers.
With the release of season 6 part two on Dec. 30, Vikings has come to an end. While the spinoff Vikings: Vahalla is set to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2021, it will pick up the story of the Viking and Anglo-Saxon conflict 100 years after the last events depicted in the original series. Thus the series finale of Vikings means we are saying goodbye to all the characters whose exploits viewers have enjoyed these last seven years. Whether in the flesh or in flashbacks, this is the final farewell. And no character will be missed so much as Lagertha.
When Vikings began, in the spring of 2013, it was a largely misunderstood enterprise. Premiering as it did on the History Channel, a cable channel best known for its WWII/Hitlerian focus in the 90’s and more current shows like Pawn Stars and Swamp People, many assumed that Vikings...

Swamp People recap tonight is all about the unforgiving heat and humidity of Louisiana, while the underlying theme is really all about the importance of family. Family saves your bacon in the Bayou, having them nearby and ready to help at a moment’s notice. For Ronnie, it’s having a concerned mother who makes him electrolyte juice to keep from cramping.

So you’re in quarantine, and you’ve got kids playing too much Roblox while the school system scrambles to put digital learning in place. Even for families with experience educating at home, it can be a daunting task coming up with learning experiences to fill a student’s day, especially with most public libraries closed during the Covid-19 crisis. While television is not the cure-all for the problem, a nice educational program, perhaps one that includes instructional materials, could be just the thing to fill in the instructional gaps and give flustered parents a little break from playing teacher.
We’ve listed here our favorite educational television program in each of the main subject areas: math, science, language arts, and social studies. I had to give this one a think overnight. On paper and in the flesh, it was a pretty low key, and dare I say, boring episode of Swamp People. A lot of reality shows have fallen under the stigma of being fake and completely staged over the years and it’s been happening ever since The Real World aired on MTV back in the day. Swamp People however isn’t as fake as lot of the others, but it is very staged and not as pure as people might think it is. This is the way that people in this part of the Us make a good living and have been doing for a while, at least until hunting was shut down in order to allow the alligator population to recover.
