What a load of bilge

I was thinking about giving this story one star. But, it wasn't that bad over-all. Just the political crap they decided to add to this story set in what's left of Detroit. I imagine the producers have to keep stroking the powers that be in Detroit to continue to be allowed to film there. As someone who lived in Detroit for a while I can tell you that city hasn't really changed much since the 60's. The only difference now is that the demographic has changed to about 90% to 10%. And more then 50% of city is now vacant lots, where private homes used to stand. This show has a more then one occasion tried to rewrite the history of Detroit riots. There was more then enough blame to go around in those days. It's to bad that the people who did live through those riots have forgotten that their survival was because the military and the police acted. There probably were people killed who shouldn't have been. In any situation where armed people are being shot at; there will be innocent casualties. But because of the men how fought in the battle of Detroit; the lights stayed on, the water continued to flow, and most of the buildings in Detroit didn't burn to the ground. There's nothing romantic about the idiots how chose to burn the neighborhood's they lived in. I'd have had more respect for them if they tried to burn their so call oppressors neighborhoods. It's a shame they decided to ruin what was an otherwise pretty good episode. Don't be fooled by one side of any argument. Look to many sources for the true stories of the Detroit riots. And take this episode with a grain of salt.
