After watching the film Bosco, I find myself caught in a whirlwind of conflicting emotions and perspectives. On the surface, it may seem like just another prison break movie with stereotypical characters and a somewhat predictable escape sequence. However, as the narrative unfolds, a deeper and more profound exploration of the human quest for freedom emerges, transforming the film into a captivating experience. The journey of Quawntay Adams, also known as ‘Bosco’, initially centered around the attempted illegal dealing of marijuana, for which he was sentenced to confinement in prison for 35 years. But the story takes an unexpected turn when he escapes prison with the help of a woman named Tammy, as he is desperate to meet his newborn daughter.
Spoilers Ahead
The escape itself may not be groundbreaking in its execution. Still, from the very beginning, Bosco’s character embodies the relentless pursuit of liberation, not just from physical...

Luke Evans and Milla Jovovich are attached to lead the sci-fi action thriller “World Breaker,” which will be directed by Brad Anderson. The Exchange is handling international sales and will introduce the cast to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin.
Evans, whose credits include “Beauty and the Beast,” is coming off a starring role in “Backstairs Billy” in the West End. He and Jovovich, best known for the “Resident Evil” franchise, previously starred together in “The Three Musketeers.” Anderson’s credits include “The Call,” “Beirut” and “The Silent Hour.”
The film centers on a father and his daughter. Five years previously, a tear in the fabric of reality brought creatures to our world from an alternate dimension bent on our destruction. The father hides his daughter on an island to keep her safe, while he prepares her for survival and the battles to come. But no place is safe.

"Humans are the greatest weakness in any security system." Peacock has revealed an official trailer for a film called Bosco, a prison escape thriller based on a true story. Finally something that might just live up to the classic Escape from Alcatraz! Hopefully. Based on the true story of Quawntay "Bosco" Adams, who also produced the film. Sentenced to 35 years for attempted possession of marijuana, Adams miraculously escaped from a Federal maximum-security prison in 2006 while under 24-hour surveillance in solitary with the help of a woman he met through a lonely-hearts ad. This features a compelling cast including Aubrey Joseph as "Bosco", Nikki Blonsky as "Tammy", Tyrese Gibson as "Tootie", Vivica A. Fox as "Willa", Theo Rossi as "Ramos", and Thomas Jane as "Hunt". Bosco will feature original music from leading hip-hop artists, including Snoop Dogg, French Montana, The Game, Ddg, & more. Looks solid though probably not a new prison escape classic.
