We see Sven chopping wood with an ax and a few seconds later we see the corded wood, but it has been cut with a saw.
Throughout the movie, arrows are seen flying through the air without fletching. Like the bow and arrow technology of other civilizations at the time, Viking arrows were built with fletching made from bird feathers to help stabilize the arrow flight.
Arrows without fletching would be nearly impossible to use accurately.

The character Sven (Craig Fairbrass) is seen throughout the movie wielding an axe as a weapon. Although Vikings did wield axes in battle for various reasons, the axe wielded by Sven is a typical wood-cutting axe. This tool would not likely have been used in battle as the head is very heavy and lighter, more specialized axes were constructed by Vikings for war.
Several of Thor's henchmen are seen wearing metal helmets adorned with horns. There is no historical or archeological evidence to suggest that Vikings or any Scandinavian civilizations wore horned helmets. This misconception likely came from artistic renderings from the 1800's.
At around 32 minutes, when Thor reclines on his throne, you can see the sole of a modern work boot under the costume boot cover.
