I liked this episode. The humor between Jane and Lisbon was great. And the case was good too. With a nice little twist/turn at the end. I also liked the bet between Jane and Montague. Overall a good episode.

When the worker Fernanda Talan is found dead in a junk yard, Lisbon and Patrick Jane are assigned to investigate the case and soon Patrick finds the body of the financial director Valerie Brestin. When FBI profiler Dr. Montague, who has created a serial-killers database, is assigned to help the CBI agents, the skeptical Patric Jane does not believe in her but teams-up with her and tries to find the connection between the victims. She believes the serial-killer Caveman is the responsible but Patrick believes Caveman is dead.
"Bloodhounds" is an episode of "The Mentalist" with the confrontation of the scientific method of Dr. Montague, and the feelings of Patrick Jane. Te conclusion is not bad. My vote is eight.
