The first of the three cours of the new Blue Exorcist anime series has come to an end, and we have recently reported that a second cour has been confirmed, but we did not have any additional information about it. Today, now that the first cour is officially over, we finally have some new information, as the producers of the series have revealed the title of the second cour, as well as a planned release window. The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime just completed its first season, teasing a second season, although without a proper release date. At the same, the manga is going on a short break until April. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End became probably the biggest hit of the Fall 2023 / Winter 2024 season, surpassing even major titles like Solo Leveling and Blue Exorcist. The fans simply loved all that Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End brought with it, and it certainly seemed like something new and refreshing in more ways than one.
We have already written about the prospects for a second season, as well as the upcoming exhibition dedicated to the series, and in this article, we’d like to report yet another piece of good news for fans of the series.
Namely, before the anime series premiered, the ongoing manga series, had sold roughly 10 million copies. A lot, but still a relatively small number when compared to some similar titles.

New Year’s is a time to make resolutions. Maybe you want to work out more, or sort out your love life, or make a big career change. And maybe your resolution is to watch more indie movies, or possibly some anime.
2023 was a banner year for anime as a medium, between great series like “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” and a major film release with Hayao Miyazaki’s last masterpiece “The Boy and the Heron.” As such, 2024’s anime offerings have a lot to live up to — and based on the lineup of shows that are premiering this January, we’re off to a promising start.
As with every season, winter 2024 has both returning favorites as well as new shows to enjoy. One particularly anticipated returnee is the beloved but rarely airing “Blue Exorcist,” which is premiering its third season after its second bowed back in 2017. This article contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 part 1.
Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has been a breakout hit ever since its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2018. In only five years, Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga has sold more than 80 million copies and is currently the 27th-best-selling manga of all-time.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s anime adaptation has proven to be just as popular, with its first season winning several awards, ranking at the top of many lists, and even becoming 2021’s second most discussed TV show on Twitter, anime or otherwise. Not to be outdone, the anime’s first feature film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is currently the ninth-highest-grossing Japanese movie ever made (beating the likes of Pokémon: The First Movie and Hayao Miyazaki’s Princess Mononoke). Clearly, excitement for Akutami’s dark signature shonen series isn’t going anywhere. This popularity buys the anime a lot of goodwill and trust with its audience,...

If you’ve been waiting to watch Christopher Nolan’s confounding sci-fi thriller “Tenet,” now is the time to finally get to it on your HBO Max watchlist. Nolan’s latest film is one of many movies leaving HBO Max in July, the full list of which you can read below.
Also leaving HBO and HBO Max this month is another Nolan classic, “Inception,” Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby,” as well as two rom-com favorites “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “You’ve Got Mail.”
If you’re looking to prioritize some selections, “American Gigolo” was Richard Gere’s break-out role — and it would be a good time to watch ahead of the upcoming TV series starring Jon Bernthal.

Blue Exorcist is probably one of the most popular stories in Japanese manga. It dates all the way back to 2009 and has seemingly been taking the world by storm ever since. In fact, the dark fantasy was so popular that it didn’t take long for it to be adapted into a television series which has so far enjoyed two seasons. There seems to be something for everyone in this story, ranging from adventure to fantasy and even some introspective moments that really force you to think about things. One of the things that fans are thinking about right now
