Great show, very funny.

How am I the first person to rate this show?

It's so damn good.

Anyway... Donald Faison and Wanda Sykes are hilarious as the title character and a time travelling Harriet Tubman. Donald is a well meaning, if a bit clueless, companion to Harriet Tubman as she travels thru time and tries to foil the evil Woodrow Wilson and the Klan from destroying the history of African-Americans.

If you are a fan of stop motion and all things Robot Chicken this show is for you. If you like satire and farce, this show is for you.

Why are you still reading this? Go watch the show right now! Also check out "Black Stormtrooper" on YouTube.

Fast pace, sharp. Reminds me of Archer

Another impressive stop-animated action comedy from Adult Swim.

The premise: Harriet Tubman (Wanda Sykes) and sidekick Alabama Jackson (Donald Faison) use time travel to save black music and prevent the KKK from destroying Obama's political career.

The result: explosive, farcical action with a joke in everyt frame! The fast pace and comedy reminds me of Adam Reed's writing in Archer.

The story, driven by Harriet's sharp tongue and unrelenting focus, works beautifully with Alabama's scatterbrained (but well-intentioned) support. The stop-motion animation is gorgeous, funny, and clean. A really impressive little ditty. I hope they make more episodes in a longer format.

Short Sweet, and Hilarious

Every episode is about 2 minutes but you would never think so while watching it. Its packed with story beats, punchlines and AJ has a great development throughout the season. Amazing cliffhanger and can't wait for season 2.

Wanda Sykes is the perfect Harriet Tubman and brings just the right amount of exposition, caring, and tough love to each scenario. Donald Faison put together a wonderful team to make this show come to life and its great to see how much Alabama Jackson's character arc is a reflection of Donald's own journey in developing the series and the subjects it tackled.

Woodrow Wilson makes for a great villain, someone with great name recognition and power to be able to pull off what the villain needs to.
