All the way through this first trailer for Knights Of Badassdom, I tried to work out where I’d seen lead actor Ryan Kwanten’s face before. And then, two minutes in, I finally worked it out: he played Vinnie Patterson for no fewer than 92 episodes in the Australian soap opera, Home & Away. Not that I’ve ever watched Home & Away, obviously.
Anyway, Knights Of Badassdom is a horror comedy about a group of live action role-playing gamers who accidentally conjure up evil beings from the depths of hades. Having sat through the surprisingly lengthy trailer below, we can’t quite make up our minds whether it looks ridiculously funny or just plain ridiculous - the answer, we suspect, is somewhere between the two.
